Since 1987, Ankit Graphics Private Limited has manufactured photopolymer flexographic printing plates for converters and printers across the packaging industry. From digital imaging through exposure, processing, and finishing, every plate is made to hold fine detail, transfer ink evenly, and run consistently from the first impression to the last.
We work directly with prepress teams and converters to match plate type, thickness, and durometer to the substrate and press — so the plate is right before it ever reaches the mounting table.

How a Plate Is Made
Five stages, from artwork to finished plate
Digital imaging
Artwork is imaged directly onto the photopolymer's mask layer, setting the exact dot and line structure the plate will hold.
Main exposure
Controlled UV exposure cures the photopolymer in the imaged areas, forming the relief that will carry ink.
Wash-out / processing
Uncured polymer is removed in a solvent or water processor, leaving the relief image standing on the base film.
Drying & post-exposure
The plate is dried and given a finishing UV pass to fully cure the surface and stabilise the relief.
Finishing & quality check
Plate thickness, relief depth, and dot quality are checked before the plate is trimmed and dispatched.
